I had a decent stay at the hotel, which is dog-friendly and served a lovely full English breakfast. The atmosphere in the restaurant could have been better, and the decor is quite dated, but overall, it was a reasonable stopover for our trip to the Lake District. If you're looking for something basic and budget-friendly, this could be the place for you.
